The paper contains a short analysis of the current state of the Moroccan dialect of the Arab language, detection of its language features and values for development of the Moroccan culture and society. Studying of live dialects of the Arab language represents one of actual problems of the modern Arab linguistics having both theoretical and applied value in connection with the growing influence of Arabic community in cross-cultural space. The peculiarity of the Moroccan dialect (Darija) is that its development has been considerably influenced by the Berber dialects, and also by the French, Spanish, and English languages. The sphere of usage of the Moroccan dialect has extended since the beginning of 2005 due to emergence of new private TV and radio channels. The Moroccan dialect has passed gradually from the sphere of informal communication into the mass media, restricting the standard Arab on rate of use. The creation of uniform Moroccan language including also other dialects (Tamazight, Tachelhit and Tarifit) may result in the association of the nation and elimination of illiteracy.
