<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article analyzes the core values and concepts in the base of the interaction between Russia and India and reflects friendly and partnering relations between countries and peoples. The conditions under which the Russian-Indian discourse was formed and the rhetoric of friendship and mutual understanding, are similar to the conditions of today, when the restructuring and updating of the global political and economic space takes place. The article emphasizes that the basic values of the Russian-Indian dialogue were formed in the mid-50s and continued to develop in the 1960s and 1970s, during conditions of tough confrontation between the USA and the USSR. This article, on the example of researching documents from the personal archive of an indologist- L.V. Mitrokhin, shows how to implement friendly communicative scenarios with representatives of various political and social groups in India. In the book of L.V. Mitrokhin “Friends of the Soviet Union”, reprinted in India in 2020 on the 75th anniversary of the Victory over fascism, the origins and development of friendship between the peoples of the USSR and India and the beginning of the formation of a mutual positive image in the mass consciousness are shown. On the basis of the the analysis of publications and archive documents L.V. Mitrokhin revealed the features of his interaction with representatives of the state, political and intellectual elites of India, who advocated the priorities of peace and universal values. The article analyzes the content of the materials of the magazine “Soviet Land” and other publications, which reflected the theme of the basic values of friendship and interaction between India and the USSR.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>глобальный кризис</kwd><kwd>посткризисное глобальное пространство взаимодействия</kwd><kwd>международные коммуникативные стратегии</kwd><kwd>ценности</kwd><kwd>Индия</kwd><kwd>СССР</kwd><kwd>Л.В.
