Аннотация
Многие ученые, занимавшиеся вопросом о последних годах правления иранской династии Сефевидов и закатом могущества этой державы, отмечают, что начало событиям, которые привели к афганскому завоеванию Исфахана (1722) и уничтожению государства Сефевидов, послужили действия беглярбека Кандагара Горгин-хана (принявшего ислам грузинского царя Картли из рода Багратионов Георгия XI).
Abstract
Many scientists, who have studied the question of the last years of the rule of the Iranian Safavid dynasty and the decline of the might of this state, note that the beginning of the events that led to the Afghan conquest of Isfahan (1722) and the destruction of the Safavids' state was caused by the actions of Kandagar beglarbek Gorgin-khan (Kartli's Georgian king of the Bagrations' family Georgy the XI, who had adopted Islam).
