<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The Devkesken VI burial ground is located on the South-Eastern cliff of Ustyurt. Under the leadership of V.N. Yagodin 21 burials were excavated in Yagodin, dating the 2nd-3rd centuries AD and have analogies with the Dzhetyasar sites of the Lower Syrdarya, and groups of nomads the Lower Volga and Volga-Ural regions of the late Sarmatian period. Analysis of burial structures, things and burial traditions allows us to identify analogies and draw conclusions about the processes taking place in the region. Burial structures and grave goods testify to the intensification of ties between the population of the steppe and forest-steppe zones of the Volga-Ural and Lower Volga regions with Ustyurt. This direction of relations is located on the ancient nomadic routes that lead to the borders of the ancient Eastern civilizations of Khorezm and Parthia. In our case, the Devkesken VI burial ground finds analogies with the monuments of the Dzhetasar culture, which population bends around the Aral Sea from the northern side, and then moves to the south along the Eastern cliff of Ustyurt up to the borders of late Ancient Khorezm. Anthropological analysis of the available craniological series shows the mixing of the population: the population of the steppe zone; uraloids from the territory of the forest-steppe zone of the Volga-Ural region and Western Siberia; and southern europoids. All evidences is connecting by its origin with the territory of the Eastern Priaralye and Central Asia. The tradition of the ring-type skull deformation is associated by its origin with the population, which brought it from the territories of the Aral region.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Археология</kwd><kwd>антропология</kwd><kwd>джетыасарская культура</kwd><kwd>Устюрт</kwd><kwd>поздние сарматы</kwd><kwd>деформация черепа</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>archaeology</kwd><kwd>anthropology</kwd><kwd>Djetyasar culture</kwd><kwd>Ustyurt</kwd><kwd>late Sarmatians</kwd><kwd>deformation skulls.</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front></article>
