<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents the publication of three amulets from the collection of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, which were acquired by the museum in 1911 from the collection of V.S. Golenishchev. These objects contain typical for the Neo-Assyrian period images, in which a key position is occupied by female characters (the goddess on the throne on the first amulet and the female demon Lamaštu on the third one). The second amulet contains the representation of an altar table with snakes and symbols, associated with human sexual activity since ancient times. The first amulet’s (I 2 в 260) obverse side contains an adoration scene before the goddess, probably Mullissu, on the throne standing on the so called lion-griffin, and two lion-griffins standing on their hind legs on the other side. Lion-griffins can be interpreted as Asakku demons depicted with apotropaic aimes. The second amulet (I 2 в 259) contains the representation of an  altar table with snakes and symbols of Nusku and Nabû on one its side and a plant, a scorpion and a wicker object on the other side. The table has a double meaning: while being an altar table it is also a symbolic representation of an anthropomorphic figure holding a snake in each hand (this is the traditional iconography of demoness Lamaštu in the Ist mill. BC). The accumulation of snakes, wicker object and scorpions on the amulet indicates its function associated with the magical effect on the sphere of sexual activity of its owner. The third amulet (I 2 в 261) contains a bright detailed image of the demoness Lamaštu holding a snake in each hand, and the incantation ša maldi eršiya of the series Hulbazizi on the other side. The article also includes transliteration, translation and commentary of the incantation’s text.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ГМИИ им. А.С. Пушкина</kwd><kwd>В.С.
