Аннотация
Османский период истории Египта традиционно делят на три этапа: сильная османская власть (XVI в.), ослабление этой власти и позиций османской администрации (XVII в.) и переход власти к мамлюкам (XVIII в.). Но историческую динамику развития османского Египта можно рассмотреть и с точки зрения колебаний и флуктуации в эволюции политических и социальных процессов. Одной из основных целей нашей статьи было показать высокий уровень государственного и социального развития Египта в османский период. Это позволяет нам в следующей статье остановиться на доказательстве положения, что согласно политико-антропологической шкале сравнения эволюционного уровня государств, Египет можно считать развитым государством еще до османского завоевания и что он оставался таковым в течение всего периода турецкого господства, включая и эпоху затяжного кризиса последней четверти XVIII в.
Abstract
The Ottoman era of the Egyptian history is traditionally subdivided into three periods: a period of strong Ottoman power (the 16<sup>th</sup> century), a period of weakening of this power and positions of the Ottoman administration (the 17<sup>th</sup> century), and a period of transition to the mamluks' control over Egypt (the 18<sup>th</sup> century). However, the historical dynamics of Egypt may be also analyzed as a series of oscillations and fluctuations in the evolution of its political and social system. In particular, in the 16<sup>th</sup> century, as a result of systematic transformation of Egypt's socio-political system conducted by Suleiman I, the political-administrative system of Egypt became substantially stronger and more effective.
