<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The concealed and invisible threads connect Arabs with traditions of ancient people, pull towards the archaic sources. And even in the earliest poetry there are infiltrated elements of the different cultures. As Arabs had not any well-shaped mythological system, perhaps any other mythic images, for example the winged monsters, the man-dogs were adopted from the other people. The contacts of Arabs even not direct, with the nomad tribes, the traits of the &amp;quot;brutal style&amp;quot;, their permanent inroads towards the frontiers of Sasanis and Byzantium could give birth to the images of freaks at the head of wolf, getting into the pre-Islamic poetry in the kind of fantastic beings and genies. The elements of plots, widely known in the folklore of Turkic people - &amp;quot;the giants bowing before the ram&amp;quot;, the bird &amp;quot;Ruh&amp;quot;, living at the top of mountains Gaf and so on are interlaced with the tissue of narration. Under conditions of the Jahiliyya poetry, where one is simply obliged to remember the name of beast of prey (the word - would be fraught with any conjuration), bringing near of author with the image of the wolf was the tribute of foreign traditions and obviously Turkic, where in all versions there are figured any connections with wolf as the ancestor.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front></article>
