Аннотация

История объединения государств Юго-Восточной Азии в региональный экономический и политический блок берет свое начало с событий, происшедших в самом конце Второй мировой войны. Тогда на волне борьбы за независимость и против колониальной власти такие выдающиеся деятели национально-освободительных движений, как Хо Ши Мин во Вьетнаме и Аун Сан в Бирме, выступили с призывом к объединению всех государств региона в противостоянии попыткам бывших метрополий вновь поставить их под свой контроль.

Abstract

The history of the unification of the states of Southeast Asia into a regional economic and political bloc started from the events which had taken place at the very end of the Second World War. At the time on the wave of the struggle for independence and against the colonial powers such outstanding figures of the national liberation movements as Ho Chimin in Vietnam and Aung San in Burma came out with a call for the unification of all the states of the region in opposition to the attempts of the former colonial powers to establish again their control over these nations.
