<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The BRICS+ has the potential to become a platform for expanding technological and scientific cooperation in the field of AI between states with different levels of economic development. In the context of the new technological paradigm, the BRICS countries individually will not be able to compete with large international corporations in the West in the near future. In this regard, it seems important to ensure interstate regulation of AI development, which will contribute to bridging the digital divide, improving the efficiency of national economies and achieving technological sovereignty. The aim of the study is to identify the prospects of cooperation between the BRICS+ countries in the field of AI development, taking into account supranational regulation within the framework of the association. The article provides a comparative analysis of the Global AI Index and The Government AI Readiness Index, which assess the level of implementation, development and government support of AI in the BRICS countries. The article estimates the size of the BRICS+ AI market from 2024 to 2030 using data from website Statista. The study identifies barriers (global semiconductor shortage, digital divide, excessive legal regulation) and drivers (venture capital, expansion of computing power) for the development of the BRICS+ AI market and formulates the key areas of partnership: development of a unified system for evaluating AI solutions; transition to the supply of chips from member countries; exchange of product, industry and R&amp;amp;D expertise; formation of an alliance of BRICS+ companies within the framework of the working group on AI development.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>искусственный интеллект</kwd><kwd>страны БРИКС+</kwd><kwd>технологическое сотрудничество</kwd><kwd>цифровой суверенитет</kwd><kwd>межгосударственное регулирование</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>artificial intelligence</kwd><kwd>BRICS countries</kwd><kwd>technological cooperation</kwd><kwd>digital sovereignty</kwd><kwd>interstate regulation</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front></article>
