Contemporary Francophone Immigrant Literature of Sub-Saharan Africa: Narrative Space, Characters, Identity

The article deals with the inception and development of the African francophone immigrant novel. It analyses the evolution of narrative space, main characters, their place in the society and personal identity through African literary discourse. Gender and linguistic specific features of immigrant writings should be emphasized.
