Uncompleted Work of A.E. Krymsky “Materials for Studying the Language and Everyday Life of Syria”

The present article is dealing with an uncompleted ethnographic work of A.E. Krymsky, entitled “Materials for studying the language and everyday life of Syria” which contains unknown information on everyday life and mythology of Arabs from the Near East. A particular attention is paid to issues of Arabs-Christians’ culture and to the role of A.E. Krymsky in the study of Arabs’ ethnology.
