The Activities of the Muslim Movement “Ahmadiyya” in the 1920s

The article examines the activities of Muslim organization “Ahmadiyya” on the territory of the USSR and Europe. The research is based on the analysis of the sources of Vostochny Otdel (Eastern Department) of the OGPU. The paper covers methods, forms and activation of the movement in the second half of the 1920s. The Ahmadiyya organization tried to gain a foothold within the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic and the Muslims of Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. The author offers her own explanation about the reasons of the limited distribution of the movement in the USSR.
