Perspectives of Economic Developments of Turkey

The article concerns the results of Turkey’s economic development during last decade taking into consideration both achievements and problem points of the national economy. The point at issue is if the drop in the rate of economic growth Turkey has been faced with during last two years is a short-time trend partly attributed to rise of political tension in the country or the economic model in use is exhausted and Turkey needs to change the production structure and its role in the world trade. The author inclines to the second version.
