Interrelations of the Turkmen Tribes of Teke and Yomut in the 18th –19th Centuries

Existent changes in the world order are forcing researchers to revise already established concepts. Thereupon an aspect of the situation in the former Soviet Union is very interesting. Experts’ approaches to the actual and future of this region are different. These estimates assume more thorough analysis, including a study of the past of this countries and peoples. The history of interactions between two Turkmen tribes Teke and Yomut  seems one of the most revealing episodes in the history of the region. This study includes the researches of economical and cultural changes and even the revision of worldview. The necessity of such kind of study is determined by the positions of these tribes in modern political and economical system of this state. Therefore, the study of interactions between them in historical perspective is essential for understanding of the processes occurring in modern Turkmenistan, for the development of transcultural communication etc. The study covers the eighteenth–nineteenth centuries.
