The Role of Islamic NGOs for Dissemination of Political Islam: the Case of Malawi

The article pursues to shed light on the radicalization processes of Islamic movements in Malawi and the tics of these processes with international Islamic networks. One of the most effective ways of dissemination of political Islam in the country is financial support of Malawian students and schoolchildren by Arabic NGOs. In the current situation a clash between traditional and reformist wings of Islam is inevitable.
