A Note on Selim Cobain’s translation of Ahmed Agayev’s brochure under the Arabic name “Women’s Rights in Islam”

Ignatii Krachkovsky in the preface to the book “The New Woman” by Qasim Amin (1912) wrote that Selim Cobain translated Ahmed Agayev’s brochure “Women’s Rights in Islam” (1905). Salim Cobain gave this title to the Arabic translation of Ahmed Agayev’s brochure which was originally titled “Woman of Islam and in Islam” (1901, 59 pages). The article provides a comparative analysis of the brochure of Ahmed Agayev and its Arabic translation.
