Ancient Egyptian Rudiments in Coptic Literature

The paper focuses on Coptic hagiographic and apocryphal texts, where one can finds borrowings not only on a conceptual level but for single topoi as well. The publication devotes to the motifs and subjects of the individual texts such as dead person’s testimony, description of hell, heaven and material coverings etc.
