Saudi Oil is the Basis of the Economy of the Country

The article analyzes the current status and prospects of the Saudi oil sector. Particularly the author reviews the dynamics of oil production, technology of oil production, development plan of new oilfields, transportation of oil and petrochemicals, export of oil and petrochemicals. The author comes to the conclusion that Saudi Arabia goes on realizing various state programmes and projects in the hydrocarbon sector to strengthen its leading position among the countries with rich oil reserves.
